What got Donald Trump elected president is his stance on "illegal immigration," which is essentially an invasion of the United States by the Third World. The invasion began in 1965 when Ted Kennedy's Immigration Act favored people from Central America, Asia, the Middle East & Africa over white Europeans who historically made up nearly all of our immigrants. 1965 was a turning point. Lyndon Johnson sent combat troops to Vietnam to become mired in a drawn-out, pointless war. Years of race riots began in Watts in California. Drugs flowed into the white middle class via The Beatles and other rock groups. Before the Kennedys, all presidents had been Protestant. John Kennedy was Catholic, and it was as if his brother Ted was trying to avenge his brother's assassination by bringing the Third World and its problems to Protestant America. Ted Kennedy and the Democrats cared nothing for Third World people. They wanted their votes. It is the same today. Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer despise blacks and Muslims but want their votes. The extreme Left now views the shrinking white majority as gun-toting racists. The Left has no respect for the Constitution or traditional western values. They see the American story as one of racism and white privilege. They burn American flags while waving foreign ones. White Democrats look the other way. Donald Trump is the one man determined to make America great again. He has vowed to build a wall along our southern border as part of national security. The floodgates opened under Obama. Illegals pours in by the millions, bringing drugs and crime. It was in keeping with Obama's promise to fundamentally transform America, to transform it from a predominantly white society to a multicultural one. Republicans let it happen. Businessman Donald Trump was the only one with guts enough to call radical Islam what it is, a global ideology whose aim is to destroy America and the west. Obama would not call out Muslim terrorism, but then he is a Muslim at heart. Trump also decried judicial activism, so-called legislating from the bench. He vowed to appoint conservative, pro-life judges, those who see their role as interpreting the Constitution. Trump went on appoint Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. He may be able to appoint more Justices during the course of his presidency. Battles are looming over immigration (The Wall), abortion, gun rights, same-sex marriage & religious liberty.
Chapter 8 of "The Conservative Case for Trump" deals with military superiority. America's military declined under Obama. President Trump has promised to rebuild it. He insists on putting America first and to quit trying to make western-style democracies out of backward nations. Of course, North Korea and Iran are major threats. North Korea has nukes, and Iran wants them. Trump has met with North Korea's Kim Jong Un and will meet with him again. Like Ronald Reagan, Trump is a believer in peace through strength. He champions veterans' causes and demands that they get adequate health care.
