Retinas are screens at the back of the eyeballs. They are connected to the brain by optic nerves.
Ear canals produce wax to keep ears clean. I must not allow wax to harden. Dr. Richard Quisling in Nashville removed wax from my left ear using a laser.
Outer ears funnel sound to the ear drums. The brain receives vibrations.
I have 32 teeth, 16 at the top, 16 at the bottom. 4 canines tear. 8 incisors chop. 8 premolars crush. 12 molars grind. Tooth enamel is the hardest substance in the body. Cavities are caused by a film of food and bacteria called "plaque." Plaque forms an acid that erodes enamel.

Strokes are a leading cause of death. Strokes occur when blood cannot get to the brain.
When I breathe, my lungs take in oxygen and give off carbon dioxide.
My skeleton has 206 bones. They meet at my joints. Cartilage covers the ends of bones. Arthritis is a disease that breaks down cartilage.
9 CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM - The brain and spinal cord are the central nervous system. Peripheral nerves branch out through the body. Nerves send and receive signals to and from the brain.
